ALBA – Funeral services for Billie Edgar Harvey, 90, of Alba, are scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba, with Bro. Byron George officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Harvey passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, at a Tyler hospital.
He was born Monday, February 14, 1927, in Alba, Texas, to the late John Henry and Lula Harbin Harvey. He served in the army during WWII in Japan and lived most of his life in Wise County. He moved back to Alba in 1996. Billie was an office worker for Mitchell Energy Corporation for 11 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, O.L. Harvey, Walter Charlie Harvey, and John Henry Harvey; and sisters, Ruby Sadler, Gracie Nutt, Ethel Pope, Bessie Prather, Jewell Wood, Elsie West, Mary Dell Holland, and Atrell Cole.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Sherwood, Brent Sherwood, Jonathan Ralph, Ethan Ralph, Paul Cole, William Cole, Randy Crunk, Earl Green, David Cole, and Billie Skiles.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
