GOLDEN – Funeral services for Jonathan Grady Dollar, 39, of Golden, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Don Masters officiating.
Mr. Dollar passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at his residence.
He was born Saturday, June 10, 1978, in Tyler, to Ernest Grady and Linda Beth Willis Dollar. He married Lesa Rena Hays on June 12, 1999, in Golden. Jonathan lived his whole life in Golden and worked for 17 years at Trinidad Benham, Mineola, in the Maintenance Department. He attended Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lesa Dollar of Golden; parents, Grady and Linda Dollar of Golden; step-son, Greg Coates of Myrtle Springs; step-daughter, Amanda and husband Daniel Casbeer of Emory; brothers, Joel Dollar of Golden and Joshua Dollar of Golden; sisters, Rachel and husband Joey Lucas of Golden, Elizabeth and husband Brandon Bohannan of Alba, and Hannah Dollar of Golden; grandchildren, Michael, Natalye, Joey, Skye, and Brandon; and grandmother, Florene Dollar of Golden.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, William T. “Peak” and Annie Ruth Galusha Willis and grandfather, Ernest Dollar.
Pallbearers will be Joel Dollar, Joshua Dollar, Joe Browning, Paul Browning, Eddie Stebbins, Steve Burge, and Ron Baker.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
