Services for Mr. Carroll Fisher, 73, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Floyd Loven officiating.
Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Fisher passed away December 16, 2017, in Tyler. He was born November 18, 1944, in Grand Saline to Warren D. & Frances Marie Loven Fisher. Carroll was a lifelong resident of Van Zandt County and retired from TXDOT after 33 years of service. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Carroll was preceded in death by his father, Warren Fisher; and baby brother, Randall Fisher.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Fisher of Grand Saline; brother, Floyd "Mack" Fisher of Grand Saline; sister, Wanda Taylor of Grand Saline; four nieces, Shelly Woodard, Pat Fleites, Pam Hall and Mary Davidson; nephew, John Taylor; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Denton, Jimmy Thompson, "Tooter" Fisher, Kyle Thompson, James Davis, Truman Woodard, Ovie Fleites and Jimmy Clayton.
Honorary pallbearers will be his "CB" Friends.
Memorials may be made to Oakland Cemetery Association or the Waxahachie Children's Home.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
