Robert Glen Davidson


GOLDEN – Funeral services for Robert Glen Davidson, 57, of Golden, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Bro. Steve Prestridge officiating.
Burial will be in Golden City Cemetery, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Davidson passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018, in a Dallas hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born Saturday, January 16, 1960, in McKinney, to Scott Wysong and Annie Ruth Carraway Davidson. He married Jean Michelle Phillips on September 4, 2009, in Grand Saline. He was a painter in the construction industry. He lived in Golden all of his life and attended Northside Church, Mineola.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Davidson of Golden; father, Scott Davidson of Howe; sons, Eric Glen and wife Bethany Davidson of Lindale and Corey Nathan Davidson of Alba; daughter, Cassie Lin and husband Paul Douglas Royar of Kempner; stepdaughters, Rachel Bragg of Mineola and Jessica Sims of Mineola; mother of his children, Mary Linda Davidson; and grandchildren, Ethan, Trent, Camden, Eli, Cohen, Oakleigh, and Lilah.
He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Roy Davidson; and sister, Angela Mills.
Family visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Saturday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
