Howell Jay Grisham


ALBA – Graveside services for Howell Jay Grisham, 79, of Alba, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Grisham passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, at a nursing home in North Richland Hills.
He was born Wednesday, May 4, 1938, in Lindale, to the late J.V. and Lessie Worthey Grisham. He was a mechanic and lived most of his life in Dallas. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his sons, Randall J. and wife Norma Grisham of Euless and Steven Ray Grisham of Rudy, Arkansas; daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Kay Wells and fiancé Keith Biggs of Bedford; brother, Lord “John” Grisham of Alba; sister, Sheila Bunch of Alba; three grandchildren, Jason Wells, Treva and Junior Sanchez, and Steven Grisham; and two great-grandchildren, Carson Sanchez and Kyla Sanchez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Andy Grisham and Sam Grisham; daughter-in-law, Rita Grisham; and brother-in-law, Edward James Bunch.
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
