Services for Vanida Jane Beck Shuemake, 76, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kyle White officiating.
Interment will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.
Mrs. Shuemake passed away June 6, 2018, in Tyler. She was born December 11, 1941, in Jena, LA, to Robert Louis Beck, Sr. and Lillie McCartney Beck. She spent her early years in Dallas before moving to Grand Saline 47 years ago. She was a member of Sand Flat Church of Christ, Women’s Extention Club, Tennis Association, and worked many years as a realtor and pharmacy technician. Vanida was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Jane Shuemake; parents; and sister, Eunice Stewart.
Survivors include her husband, Sid Shuemake of Grand Saline; two daughters, Sonda Dispenza and husband George of Longview and Cyd Terese Hoffpauir of Grand Saline; two brothers, Bobby Beck and wife Eileen of Dallas and Louis Beck and wife Flossie of Tyler; two sisters, Sue Schleimer of Dallas and Sandy Beck; eight grandchildren, Brandy Tovar, Ashley Dispenza, Joey Dispenza, David Dispenza, Cassandra Watson, Sidney Hoffpauir, Vanida Mays and Thomas Hoffpauir; ten great-grandchildren, Gracie Tovar, Ethan Tovar, Ruby Lyn Tovar, Kristen Meyer, Vincent Dispenza, Joey Conry, Michael Conry, Brock Aguillar, Samantha Mays and Layla Mays; two great-great-grandchildren, Quinn Meyer and Emerson Meyer; numerous nieces, nephews, and many loving sisters & brothers-in-law.
Pallbearers will be Joey Dispenza, Sidney Hoffpauir, Thomas Hoffpauir, Isaac Tovar, David Slaughter, and Wesley Shuemake.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
