Ruby Meretta Alexander Little

LONE OAK – Funeral services for Ruby Meretta Alexander Little, 92, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Lone Oak Baptist Church, Lone Oak, with Bro. Robert Cook officiating.
Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery, Lone Oak, under the direction of Bartley’s Lone Oak Funeral Home.
Mrs. Little passed away Monday, September 3, 2018, at a nursing home in Farmersville. She was born May 12, 1926, in Lone Oak, to the late Archie Lee and Martha Erma Dodson Alexander. Ruby attended Paris Junior College and lived her whole life in Hunt County. She worked for the Lone Oak Funeral Home as an Office Manager for over 30 years and she was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church where she was also a Sunday School Teacher.
Survivors include her son, Larry and wife Deneice Little of Quitman; sister, Martha and husband Bob Girdner of Greenville; granddaughter, Shawna Molina of Greenville; and three great-grandchildren, James Brewer, Jordan Molina, and Gianna Molina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Little; granddaughter, Tonya Brunner, and sister, Helen Jones.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at the funeral home.
