Services for Mr. Charles Brand, 58, of Mabank, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Riverside Mission Church, Grand Saline, with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Brand passed away April 3, 2024, in Tyler. He was born July 25, 1965, in Fruitvale to Elmer J. & Dorothy Opal Garrett Brand. Charles grew up in Fruitvale and Elmo, and then moved to Mabank about 29 years ago. He worked in maintenance for TVCC in Athens, and loved building and racing circle track cars. Charles was a member of Riverside Mission Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill Brand, and Larry Brand; and sister, Ruthie Fowler.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Brand of Mabank; three sons, Nathan Brand and wife Damaris of Tyler, Josh Brand and wife Ashley of Seven Points, and Ben Brand and wife Melissa of Mabank; three sisters, Mary Baker of Terrell, Ida Baker of Terrell, and Betty Morgan of Grand Saline; four grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
