George Dispenza

Services for Mr. George Dispenza, 76, of Longview, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Kyle White officiating.

Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.

Mr. Dispenza passed away February 14, 2024, in Longview. He was born August 16, 1947, in Monroe, LA, to Veto & Josephine Marie Vaccaro Dispenza. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and later owned/operated a fire sprinkler company. He spent his early years in Monroe, LA, many years in Bossier City and Shreveport; and then the last 19 years in Longview. George was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brandy Tovar; and brother, Veto Dispenza, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sonda Dispenza of Longview; two sons, Joseph Dispenza of Hallsville, and David Dispenza and wife Michelle of Londonderry, NH; daughter, Ashley Marie Dispenza of Longview; son-in-law, Isaac Tovar of Longview; four brothers, Sam Dispenza and wife Vicki of Monroe, LA, James Dispenza and wife Debbie of Fannette, Chris Dispenza of Monroe, LA, and Vince Dispenza and wife Cindy of Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, Kristen Meyer, Gracie Tovar, Ethan Tovar, Rubylyn Tovar, Maesen Bade, Michael Conry, Joey Conry, Vincent Dispenza, Zachary George Dispenza, and Emerald Dispenza; three great-grandchildren, Quinn Meyer, Emmerson Meyer, and Oliver Meyer; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Sidney Hoffpauir, Thomas Hoffpauir, Ryan Dispenza, and Patrick Dispenza.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Vaccaro and Jerry Hansen.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
