Lamerle Adkins

Services for Mrs. LaMerle Skinner Adkins, 82, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Bartley Funeral Home with Kyle White officiating.
Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.
Mrs. Adkins passed away November 20, 2014, in Tyler. She was born March 23, 1932, in Grand Saline to David Livingston & Hazel Elizabeth Burke Skinner. She lived most of her life in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area before moving to Grand Saline 22 years ago. LaMerle was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dannie Sue Reed; brother, James Ray Burke; step-son, Dickey Adkins; and brother-in-law, Charles Reed.
Survivors include husband, Bob Adkins of Grand Saline; step-son, Nick W. Adkins and his wife Debbie of Grand Saline; daughter-in-law, Faye Milton of Grand Saline; brother, Will Skinner and wife Linda of Quinlan; sister, Billie Jo Reed of Grand Saline; four grandchildren, Chad Adkins, Jeff Adkins, Josh Adkins and Amber Adkins; three great-grandchildren; nephews, Rick Reed, Bubba Skinner and Doug Skinner; nieces, Lisa Foster and Detra Stasney; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Josh Adkins, Jeff Adkins, Seth Adkins, Jody Mayne and Jerry Mayne.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
