Peggy Alexander

Services for Peggy Alexander, 71, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Swaim officiating.
Burial will be in Shields Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander passed away December 26, 2014 in Grand Saline. She was born November 9, 1943, in Fruitvale to Loyd D. & Loney Frances Spillers Brown. She spent most of her life in Dallas before moving to Edgewood 7 years ago. She enjoyed being with her family, going out to eat, shopping and dancing. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother; brother, Loyd Brown Jr.; granddaughter, Kristy Cobb; and son-in-law, Stephen Rodrigues.
Survivors include her father, Loyd D. Brown; husband, Billy Alexander of Edgewood; three sons, Charles Scott Jr. of Edgewood, Billy Alexander Jr. of Edgewood and Joey Wayne Alexander of Fruitvale; four daughters, Dana Alexander of Grand Saline, Peggy Ownby of Kodac, TN, Frances Hawkins of Kodac, TN, and Kandy Rodrigues of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Deloris & Robert Littlejohn of Fruitvale; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Dale Alexander, Stephen Rodrigues, Bradley Rodrigues, Randy Mejia, Jonathon Mejia, Mathew Alexander and J.J. Clanton.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Bartley Funeral Home.
