Margaret Marie Moon Allison

LONE OAK – Funeral services for Margaret Marie Moon Allison, 93, of Plano, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at Lone Oak Baptist Church, Lone Oak, with Bro. Robert Cook officiating.
Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery, Lone Oak, under the direction of Bartley’s Lone Oak Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allison passed away Friday, September 28, 2018, at her residence in Plano. She was born August 26, 1925, in Hunt County, to the late Oliver W. and Addie L. Ray Moon. She graduated from Point High School and married Phillip Gail Allison on June 30, 1950, in Greenville. Margaret worked for Pleasant Grove State Bank and Garland State Bank in Bookkeeping and Loan Departments. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors include her brothers, Gaylon and wife Bobbie Moon of Conroe and Royce Moon of Lone Oak; sister, Joyce Knox of Plano; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gail Allison; and brothers, Ray Moon, Joe Moon, and O.W. Moon, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Royce Moon, David Knox, and Charles Moore.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. noon to 2 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018, at the church.
