Services for Amy Jo Scott, 59, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Bro. Homer Morgan and Sis Delana Wheeler officiating.

Interment will be in Starr Cemetery.

Amy Jo Scott passed away peacefully at her home on July 29, 2025. She was born December 16, 1965, in Dallas, Texas, to Leslie and Betty Jo Rush Scott.

Amy spent most of her life in Grand Saline, where she was raised attending Roundflat Pentecostal Church and most recently worshiped at Nazarene Chapel. She had a gift for cooking and baking, a passion she shared generously with family and friends. Amy also loved traveling, especially going on cruises, and found her greatest joy in spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Les “Pops” Scott, and her husband, Ron Hamblen.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Jo Rush Scott of Grand Saline; son, Les Hamblen and wife Katelyn of Grand Saline; three daughters, Ashley Jones and husband Donny of Grand Saline, Amber Scott and Sam Bell of Canton, and Annisha Walker and husband Chris of Commerce; three brothers, Richard “Dickey” Scott of Grand Saline, David Taylor and Pat Scott of Grand Saline, and Michael Scott of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren, Ashlyn Chote, Trevor Morphis, Grayson Hamblen, Annie Jones, and Landry Walker; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Les Hamblen, Grayson Hamblen, Trevor Morphis, Sam Bell, Donnie Jones, and Chris Walker.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
