ALBA – Services for Clyde Thomas Anderson, 78, of Alba, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Mr. John Ratliff officiating.
Burial will be in Colony Cemetery, Alba, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, in Tyler.
He was born September 25, 1934, in Haskill County, to the late Clyde and Virginia Irene Byrd Anderson. He married Hazel DaRue Horne October 8, 1954, in Dallas. He lived most of his life in Houston before moving to Alba seven years ago. He was a Senior Draftsman for Mobil Oil for 33 years. He was a member of Alba Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Anderson; and brother, Eugene Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Hazel Anderson of Alba; and son, Greg Anderson and wife Kelly of Mesquite; four grandsons; and two great granddaughters and one great grandson.
Pallbearers are Shaun Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Michael Anderson, Paul Anderson, John Gordon, and John Sokolowski.
