Graveside services for Mr. Henry Anglin, of De Kalb, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Creagleville Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Henry Lee Anglin, 73, passed away on Friday, February 21. He was born on September 24,1951 in Grand Saline, Texas to Marie and David Anglin.
Henry spent most of his life working in the printing industry where he met co-worker, Audrey McIntyre. They married on February 8, 1986. Henry loved fishing and hunting and the camaraderie with others that both brought into his life. He and Audrey retired to country living in the De Kalb, Texas area where he was actively involved in the Daniels Chapel Methodist Church near New Boston.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Anglin and wife Thelma; mother, Marie Garcia and husband, Jose; sister Connie Garcia; and brothers, Jose Garcia, Claude Vaughn, Roger Vaughn, Jimmy Vaughn, Janiva Vaughn, Roy Anglin, and Pito Cortez, Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Audrey Anglin; his children and their spouses, Anthony Anglin, Nathan Anglin, Amy and Paul Roye, David and Deanna Weaver, Judy Luter, Sherry and Keith Crow, and Melanie Alegnani; siblings and spouses; Virginia and James Hale, Avalina Cortez, Juanita and Quaker Jarmilla, David and Karen Anglin, Patricia and Ronald Woodall, Caroline Anglin, Shirley and Bruce Waid, Patsy and Doug Henderson, Jeanette and Shane Wise, Kenneth Anglin, and Billy Anglin; and many grand, great grand and great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends 12 p.m.- 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
