CADDO MILLS – Graveside services for Louise Porter Aston, 94, of Caddo Mills, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Lynch Cemetery, East Tawakoni, under direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Lone Oak, with Preston Boles officiating.
Ms. Aston passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, in Royse City.
She was born September 2, 1923, in Flats, to the late Gordon Phelps and Mildred McKinley Handy Porter. Louise attended school in Emory and lived most of her life in Dallas. She married A.W. Aston on February 11, 1942, in Dallas. She retired from Safeway and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, David and wife Patricia Aston of Caddo Mills; daughter, Linda Aston Marshall of Grand Prairie; brothers, Gordon Phelps Porter, Jr. “Buck” of Commerce and Jack Porter of Mesquite; son-in-law, Jim Boles of Ajijic, Mexico; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, A.W. Aston; granddaughter, Ciji Boles; daughter, Brenda Boles; and son-in-law, Bennie Marshall.
