O.L. Barker

Services for Mr. O.L. Barker, 87, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating.
Interment will follow in Small Cemetery, Edgewood, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Barker passed away April 23, 2017, at his home in Grand Saline. He was born February 7, 1930, in Wills Point, to Augustus Lee & Ruthie Fred Barker. He spent most of his life in Grand Saline. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and had worked as an aircraft assembler. O.L. was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jackie Wayne Barker; seven brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include his three sons, Harlon Lee Barker of Grand Saline, Larry Dean Barker of Fruitvale and Jerry Lane Barker of Grand Saline; daughter, Vickie Lynn Dickerson of Grand Saline; sister, Opal Carson of Wills Point; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Barker, Cody Barker, Chris Barker, Jonathan Dickerson, Bubba Woods and Gary Stanley.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
