Services for Sadie Barnett, 78 of Durant, OK formerly of Grand Saline, will be held Saturday August 18, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Starr Cemetery in Grand Saline.
Mrs. Barnett passed away August 14, 2012 at her home in Durant, OK. She was born December 13, 1933 to Hearst R. and Naomi Hall Barnett in Hopkins County. She had lived in Grand Saline and Kansas before moving to Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mark Shane Russell; and special friend, James Stanberry.
Survivors include children Rhonda Russell and James A. Brantley of Durant, OK, David W. Russell and Vince Callicutt of Kansas, and Jimmy J. Russell Jr.; sister, Margaret Ross and husband David of Balch Springs; grandchildren, Crystal Elaine Russell and Jake Waggoner, Andrew Ray Anderson, Brian Allen Anderson and wife Tonya; and great-grandchild Cameron Dale Waggoner.
