Graveside services for Billy W. Barrett, 77, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Rodgers Cemetery with Bro. David Hewitt officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Barrett passed away June 13, 2014, in Grand Saline. He was born March 21, 1937, in Miller Grove to the late Arthur Rueben and Dolly L. Carpenter Barrett. He had lived in Van Zandt County since 1991. Mr. Barrett was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby Joe Barrett and Alton Barrett; and sister, Lorelei Hood.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Cynthia Barrett of Grand Saline, Billy Don and Norma Barrett of Canton, and Joey Barrett of Grand Saline; brother, Gerald and Jeanette Barrett of Edgewood; eight grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
