ALBA – Graveside services for Robbie Anna Burns Bass, 95, of Alba, are scheduled for 1 PM Monday, January 7, 2019, at Foster Cemetery, Foster, Oklahoma, under direction of Wooster Funeral Home, Elmore City, Oklahoma, with Pastor Joe Caballero officiating. There will be a viewing at Wooster Funeral Home at noon before the graveside service.
There will also be a visitation at the Bass home, 240 PR 5567, Alba, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 2-5 PM. Local arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Bass passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at her residence in Alba.
She was born March 20, 1923, in Jacksonville, to the late Robin and Carrie Ann Wilburn Burns. Mrs. Robbie married Bervin Harlen Bass June 7, 1944, in Dallas. She retired from Standard Brands and moved to Bonham. She was always dedicated to her family and she loved gardening and ranching. She lived the last 18 years in Wood County and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her son, Larry Bass of Alba; daughter, Sharon Kelley and husband Kenneth of Montague; grandchildren, Jami Lybbert and husband Chris of Saint Jo and Coy Harris and wife Milissa of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bervin Harlen Bass; and sister, Alice Tackitt.
