Robert Beaird

Services for Mr. Robert Wayne Beaird, 71, of Emory, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church, Fruitvale, with Bro. Homer Morgan and Bro. Robert Burns officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.

Mr. Beaird passed away June 18, 2024, at his home in Emory. He was born June 23, 1952, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to William & Ernestine McElrath Beaird. Robert spent his early years in Hot Springs, AR, where he graduated from Fountain Lake High School, Class of 1970. He served our country in the US Army in Darmstadt, Germany. Robert had lived in Emory for the last 35 years, and had worked for Trane, in Tyler, for 35 years before retirement. He was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Billy Ray Beaird.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Joy Brimer Beaird of Emory; three sons, Scott Beaird, Shawn Beaird, and Sam Beaird, all of Emory; two daughters, Cori Beaird and Kali Beaird, both of Emory; step-son, Michael Wiley of Emory; five grandchildren, Harley, Hunter, Harper, Oliver, George; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Roy Brimer, Kanaan Brimer, Sam Brinlee, and Michael Wiley.
