Wilmer Bell

Visitation for Wilmer Willis Bell, 95, of Alba, is scheduled for 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Bell passed away July 19, 2021, in Grand Saline. He was born July 11, 1926, in Wood County to William Wylie and Edna Ethel Willis Bell. On August 14, 1948, Wilmer married Jo Ann Gibson in Rains County. He had lived the past 7 years in Alba and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garland. Wilmer worked over 45 years for Kraft Foods in Garland on assembly lines and in the warehouse. He also served in the United States Army and was a cook for the military during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Jo Ann Gibson Bell; three brothers, Tommy Bell, Dan Bell, and Dee Wright Bell; four sisters, Doris Hass, Melba Adair, Mozelle Parmer, and Wanda Bell.
Survivors include numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
