Services for Bonnie Leona Stone Boan, 88, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, with Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.

Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery.

Mrs. Boan passed away December 28, 2022, in Tyler. She was born June 8, 1934, in Grand Saline, to James “Jim” Otto and Addie Jessie Brown Stone. Bonnie was raised in Grand Saline, lived several years in the Dallas and Houston area, before moving back to Grand Saline 25 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Addie Stone; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Lisa Armstrong; daughter, Shelia Armstrong Lopez; sister, Marie Douthitt; brother, Berlie Stone; grandson, Stephen James Armstrong; and great-great-grandson, Thomas Floyd.

Survivors include her stepson, Shawn Boan of Joplin, MO; brother, Jimmy Don Stone and wife Sandra of Emory; three sisters, Margaret Boyles and husband William of Grand Saline, Charlotte Curtis and husband Junior of Grand Saline, and Rita Milliorn of Fruitvale; five grandchildren, Shawnna Hewitt of Mineola, Terry Floyd of Houston, Stephanie Newman and husband Bobby of Santa Fe, NM, Joseph Lopez of San Antonio; and Janet Camacho of Houston; six great-grandchildren, Dalton Fehl of Grand Saline, Nicholas Floyd and wife Alexis of Houston, MarKus Newman, ValeriK, Newman, ThoRin Newman, and Skadi Newman, all of Santa Fe, NM; three great-great-grandchildren, James Floyd, Carys Floyd, and Wes Floyd, all of Houston; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Terry Floyd, Bob Crawford, Joseph Lopez, Dalton Fehl, Ronnie Boyles, Danny Curtis, and Nicholas Floyd.

Memorials can may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
