Danny Bohannan

Memorial services for Mr. Danny Vince Bohannan, 51, of Alba, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Amazing Grace Fellowship Church with Bro. Byron George officiating.

Mr. Bohannan passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, in Alba. He was born October 24, 1970, in Mineola to Danny Douglas & Janiece Rue Wright Bohannan. Vince spent all his life in the Alba area, where he was a member of Open Door Church. He worked at Bent Creek Cabinets and also as an auto mechanic. Vince could fix anything with an engine. He had the need for speed! He was a master of storytelling, and his grandchildren were his world. Mr. Bohannan was preceded in death by his mother, Janiece Bohannan; grandparents, Grandpa & Grandma Bo; and Memaw, Imogene Powell.

Survivors include his father, Danny Douglas Bohannan of Alba; two sons, Dustin Bohannan and wife Casey of Alba, and Jaydyn Bohannan of Emory; three daughters, Ashley Nicole of Alaska, Josie Bohannan of Alba, and Jessica Bohannan of Emory; three brothers, Johnny Hollis and wife Alisa of Golden, Jimmy Hollis and wife Becky of Golden, and Douglas Bohannan of Alba; two sisters, Jana Warren and husband Keith of Golden, and Sherrie Horne and husband Mike of Alba; five grandchildren, Payden Bohannan, Chandler Bohannan, Lynlee “Winnie” Bohannan, Amari “Mo Mo” Bohannan, and Jessie Hass; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will oversee the service at the church.
