ALBA – Services for Jacquelyn Elizabeth “Jackie” Bongard, 21, of Alba, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Byron George and Bro. Jimmy Jarrett officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Ms. Bongard passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born October 16, 1991, in Mesquite, to Robert Joseph and Leigh A. Riley Bongard. She lived most of her life in Alba. She was a beloved fiancée, mom, daughter, sister, and friend who adored her family and was dedicated to her work. She touched so many lives and was loved by all who knew her. She was a waitress at Tiffany’s Restaurant.
Survivors include her father, Robert Bongard of Mineola, and mother, Leigh Bongard of Marrero Louisiana; fiancé, Joseph LaPlante of Alba; daughter, Jalyn LaPlante of Alba; sisters, Britney Bongard of Sulphur Springs, and Alicia Bongard of Alba.
Pallbearers are Robert LaPlante, Jack Slatter, Tony Mata, Peewee Scott, Justin Sisk, and Ricky Sanders.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
