Crystal Gayle Bowen

Crystal Gayle Bowen, 33, of Grand Saline, formerly of Arlington, passed away on August 17, 2014. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline, with Bro. Mark Winskie officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Crystal loved country music and was named after the famous singer, Crystal Gayle. Crystal had a wonderful opportunity to personally meet Crystal Gayle. What a special day that was! Crystal Gayle not only took time to visit with Crystal, she also autographed Crystal’s record album, posed for a picture with Crystal, and sent autographed calendars to her on her birthday.
Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Don Bowen of Dallas; and her grandfather, Laurence Galen of Auxvasse, Missouri.
Survivors include her mother, Nancy Taibi and husband Michael Taibi of Arlington; grandmother, Opal Galen of Auxvasse, Missouri; Uncle Jim Galen of Bowling Green, Missouri, Uncle Larry Galen and wife Betty of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Aunt Charlene Carr and husband Ralph of Auxvasse, Missouri, Aunt Barbara Galen and Andy Bumbera of Bullhead City, Arizona, Aunt Carol Galen of Venus; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time at Bartley Funeral Home.
