Edward "Ed" Bradley

Services for Edward Lloyd “Ed” Bradley, 85, of Alba, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline, with Dr. Ricky Bradley officiating.

Interment will be in Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline.

Mr. Bradley passed away March 29, 2024, at his residence in Alba. He was born February 13, 1939, in Brownwood, to William Edward Francis and Lois Louise Chamberlain Bradley. Ed spent his early years in Brownwood and married Florence “Flo” Atkins on February 12, 1958. Together, they lived in Lancaster for 35 years, before moving to Alba 28 years ago. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and the Rejoicers Sunday School Class. Ed served 6 years in the US Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Mary Bradley.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Florence “Flo” Bradley of Alba; two sons, Edward Lloyd Bradley, Jr. of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Ricky Bradley and wife Lena of Alba; sister, Anita Rushing and husband James of Brownwood; six grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
