Services for Richard Michael-Hargrove Brewer, 25, of Mineola, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Sand Springs Baptist Church, Mineola, with Bro. Jerry Jackson and Bro. Jim Parker officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Interment will follow in Lake Fork Memorial Cemetery, Alba.
Michael passed away January 13, 2024, in Tyler. He was born February 24, 1998, in Lumberton, NC, to Michael Anthony Brewer and June Carol Barnes Brewer. Michael had lived the last 15 years in the Wood and Rains County area. He was a member of Bright Star Baptist Church, Alba. He worked as a tow truck driver for Wyatt’s Towing. He also worked for Wood Shed Truss in Mineola for 4 years. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Johnson; maternal grandfather, Arch Barnes, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Larry Richard Brewer; paternal grandmother, Wanda Powers; and uncles, Johnny Brewer and Jeff Johnson.
Survivors include his parents, Michael Anthony Brewer of Castle Haynes, NC, and June “Sissy” Brewer of Mineola; two brothers, Mason Brewer and Matthew Brewer both of Mineola; four sisters, Amber Ramirez and husband Coby, Josie Britt, Braxton Britt, and Faith Britt all of Mineola; two nieces; one nephew; special aunt and uncle, Brigitte and Jerry Jackson of Alba, who have played an important role in his life; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mason Brewer, Matthew Brewer, Coby Ramirez, Duane Jackson, Steve “Bo” Wyatt, and Ricky Peebles.
Memorials can be made to Michael’s Love Fund at Mineola Community Bank, 215 W Broad St., Mineola, Texas 75773.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
