ALBA – Memorial services for Harold “Butch” Erwin Bridwell, 75, of Alba, will be scheduled at a later date under the direction of the family.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Bridwell passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017, at his residence in Alba.
He was born Saturday, July 11, 1942, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to the late Harley Howard and Catherine Lucile Bailey Bridwell. Harold married Marla Shareen Carter on February 29, 1996, in Paw Paw, Michigan. He lived most of his life in the St. Joseph, Michigan area and moved to Alba after moving from Kingman, Arizona. Butch retired from Sheet Metal Local 7-1, Lansing, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marla Bridwell of Alba; son, Scott Allen Bridwell of Benton Harbor, Michigan; daughter, Laura Lee Bridwell Oatsvall of Stevensville, Michigan; brother, Harry Bridwell of St. Joseph, Michigan; sisters, Virginia Kuball of Michigan and Verna Krueger of Florida; grandson, Nathan and wife Amanda Harris of Huntington Beach, California; and granddaughters, Juliana Nicole Oatsvall of St. Joseph, Michigan and Tanya Michelle Oatsvall of Stevensville Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harvey Bridwell; and sister-in-law, Terry Bridwell.
