Horace Brown

Graveside services for Horace Lynn Brown, 71, of Lone Oak, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, under the direction of Bartley's Lone Oak Funeral Home with Audie Gilbreath officiating.
Mr. Brown passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in a Greenville hospital.
He was born September 21, 1942, in Winnsboro, to the late Horace Bradley and Lillian Hazel Harris Brown. He married Lisa Marie Steel-Hickman on September 30, 1982, in Dallas. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War, and he was an overland transportation truck driver. He had lived in Lone Oak since 2001.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Brown of Lone Oak; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Aaron Orr of Dallas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Miron and JoAnn Klotz of Lone Oak; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Jerry and Vanessa Burns and Janell Hickman all of Wolfe City; numerous nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandra Kay Colglazier; and brother-in-law, Eddie Hickman.
Family visitation will be at the funeral home Friday 7-9 p.m.
