Memorial services for Bryan Jerrell Brown, age 79, of Lindale, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home, in Grand Saline with Pastor Walter Dorsey officiating.
Jerrell passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Tyler. He was born June 11, 1943, in Fruitvale to the late Jack C. and Billie Jo (Vaughan) Brown. Jerrell served his country in the United States Coast Guard and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Van. After earning a degree in Horticulture, he started a landscaping business and also worked in the missionary field for many years. Jerrell enjoyed being a firearms enthusiast, the outdoors, hiking, and camping. He was known by all for having a servant’s heart of gold. Jerrell was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Billy Jack Brown, Bobby Gene Brown, John Michael Brown, and Joe Wendell Brown; and sister, Bonnie Sue McPherson-Gaunt.
Jerrell is survived by his son, Johnathon Brown of North Dakota; 3 brothers, Tony Brown of Lindale, Jeff David Brown of Lindale, and Dan Brown of Arkansas; sister, Debbie Brown of Lindale; 2 grandchildren, Madison Carolyn Brown, and Boston Tucker Brown; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
