Services for Mr. Ronnie Brown, 63, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Riverside Mission Church, with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Ronnie Brown passed away November 21, 2020, in Tyler. He was born April 10, 1957, in Grand Saline, to Henry Lee & Polly Brown. He spent his early years in Grand Saline, about 20 years in Celeste, and the last 15 years in Grand Saline. Ronnie was a member of Riverside Mission Church. He worked for the City of Greenville for 22 years. Ronnie was a volunteer fireman for the city of Celeste for about 20 years and served as Fire Chief. He was also an avid pool player. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his father, Henry Brown; and three brothers, Henry Dewayne Brown, Robert Crain and Jeff Works.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Bobbie Jean Brown of Grand Saline; mother, Polly Brown of Grand Saline; two sons, Brandon Brown and wife Elaine of Celeste, and Brian Brown and wife Jennifer of Grand Saline; daughter, Bridgett Ross and husband Heath of Poetry; brother, Troy Brown and wife April of Alba; two sisters, Susie Brown Flores and husband Marshall of Grand Saline, and Vikki Brown of Grand Saline; nine grandchildren, DJ Ross, Hunter Ross, Hannah Brown, Hailey Brown, Hayden Brown, Harper Brown, Baley Brown, Jessie Brown, and Ty Brown; three great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be his pool playing buddies.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at the funeral home.
