Graveside services for David L. Bryant, 62 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013 at Creagleville Cemetery with Bro. Bob Lamb officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mr. Bryant passed away July 23, 2013 in Dallas. He was born November 4, 1950 in Grand Saline to Gordon & Glenda Pugh Bryant. David was born and raised in Grand Saline. He worked as a field superintendent for Cimarex Energy in Tulsa, OK and traveled with his job. He also spent 10 years in Winnsboro before moving to Grand Saline 18 years ago. He was Baptist, and was a member of the Porch Sitting Union of America (Live Better Work Less Union). David was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Leslie Bryant; and sister, Becky Bryant.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Debbie Bryant of Grand Saline; three daughters, Kelli Bryant of Grand Saline, Jessica Mettier and husband Dennis of Kemp, and Jenny Clayburn and husband Jarrod of Whitton; three brothers, Glenn Bryant and wife Lil of New Iberia, LA, Don Bryant of Grand Saline, and Johnny Bryant and wife Glenda of Cransfills Gap; sister, Rhealene Lamb and husband Bob of Boiling Springs, NC; and nine grandchildren, Austin, Lizzie, River, Charlotte, Piper, William, Reni, India and Malcomb.
Pallbearers will be Cody Woodall and Harvey Woodall.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125, Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
