Patty Jo Buck

On Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, Patty Jo "PJ" (Harris) Buck slipped from this earthly world. She passed at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, surrounded by loved ones, due to complications from cancer. Patty was born in Dallas, TX to Kay Harris on June 16, 1977. She attended Berkner High School.

Patty had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor. She had a big interest in movies, music, video games, and crafts. Despite an early diagnosis of Type I Diabetes, she thrived, living on caffeine and cuss words. To know her was to love her.

Patty settled in Wills Point, TX, married Michael Simmons and became a mother. Later, she moved to Grand Saline, TX and married Ralph J. Buck III, "Trey."

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Billy Joe and Juanita Norris of Garland. She is survived by her mother, Kay Harris; children, William and Nicole Simmons; husband, Trey Buck; and many cousins, family, and friends. She will be laid to rest in Edgewood, TX.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grand Saline Housing Authority Community Center from 4:00-7:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.
