Services for Stephen Glenn Burge, 28 of Mineola, are scheduled for 3 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Roundflat Pentecostal Church with Bro. Homer officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Concord Cemetery.
Mr. Burge passed away May 14, 2013 at Tyler. He was born May 7, 1985 in Tyler to Charles Glen Burge, Jr. and Mary Goodson Burge. He spent all of his life in Mineola where he worked as a private contractor for the Dallas Morning News. He was preceded in death by brother, Shawn LaValley.
Survivors include his fiancé, Angela Dayton of Mineola; parents, Janie & Chuck Burge of Mineola; second mom, Michelle Rice of Mineola; son, Lane Joseph Burge of Mineola; daughter, Kaylynn Michelle Burge of Mineola; three brothers, Chris Monk of Tyler, Larry Burge of Mineola and Shane Burge of Mineola; three sisters, Toni Davis and husband Ryan of Colorado City, CO, Krista Burge of Mineola and Lori Burge of Mineola; grandparents; Jim & Alice Goodson of Mineola; Maurice Maberry of Mineola and Wayne Nichols of Mineola; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Austin Rice, Robert Dayton, Chandler Bright, Charlie Smith, Terrence Everett and Shawn McQuilliams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Cook, Michael Cook, Shane Burge and Chris Monk.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
