Services for Annie Mae Alphin Burrow, 96, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Bartley Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Creagleville Cemetery.

Mrs. Burrow passed away March 11, 2022, in Grand Saline. She was born December 17, 1925, in Grand Saline, to James & Mary Lee Alexander Alphin. Mae lived most of her life in Grand Saline where she was a member of Bible Baptist Church for many years. She married Elvin Alton “Bud” Burrow on September 25, 1948, in Grand Saline. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Garland for many years, and Dallas Medical Arts as an X-ray technician. Mae loved to read her bible and cook Christmas dinners for her family, especially her favorite green cake. She helped raise her two nephews, Jack and Jerry Alphin. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Jay Alphin and Daniel Alphin; two sisters, Liddie Hashert and Pearl Alphin; nephews, Jerry Alphin and Jimmy Joe Alphin; and brother-in-law, S.B. “Tooter” Burrow.

Survivors include her nephew, Jack Alphin and wife Judy of Grand Saline; niece-in-law, Lois Ann Alphin of Keller; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
