Darrel Burrow

Services for Darrel Don Burrow, 86, of Mineola, are scheduled for 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating.

Interment will be in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.

Mr. Burrow passed away May 28, 2022, in Mineola. He was born July 11, 1935, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Alvin and Rachel Stevenson Burrow. On September 15, 1978, he married Marian Alice Golberg in Texarkana, Arkansas. They moved to the Wood County area, from Colleyville nine years ago. Darrel was a member of Pilgrim Rest #2 Baptist Church, Golden, and of the US Army Reserves. He loved to fish, play his guitar, sing, cook and eat. He especially loved time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Pryor; son-in-law, Ty Walpole; and brother, Terry Burrow.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Marian Burrow of Mineola; son, Steve Underwood and wife Annette of Grapevine; three daughters, Darrelyn Winfry and husband Steve of Haughton, Louisiana, Melanie Cathey and husband Randy of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Terry Walpole of Alba; brother, Jarry Burrow and wife Cathy of Louisiana; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Stovall, Cade Stovall, Jason Smith, Joel Ralston, Bobby Pryor, and Will Adams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Winfrey and Micah Winfrey.

The family will receive friends, 12 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
