Services for Mr. Tony Calder, 44 of Fruitvale are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Riverside Mission Church with Bro. Donnie Herring & Bro. Ronnie Wheeler officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Calder passed away March 22, 2013 in McKinney. He was born December 5, 1968 in Quitman to Lannie R. & Mary L. Wheeler Calder. He loved music and especially enjoyed playing the guitar and worshiping in his church. Mr. Calder was preceded in death by his grandparents; John & Connie Wheeler and Shorty & Jo Calder; and uncles, David & Stevie Wheeler.
Survivors include his fiance, Jessica Sipes of Fruitvale; mother and stepfather, Mary & Lynn Sparks of Quinlan, father, Lannie Calder of Quinlan; son, Dakota Calder of Grand Saline; two daughters and a son-in-law, Aspen & Justin Hall of Grand Saline, Destiny Wittington of Wills Point; brother, Lynn Sparks Jr. of Quinlan; sister, Lana Calder and fiance Chris of Quinlan; grandchildren, Lane Hall and Jaylee Martin and one on the way; special aunt and uncle, Delana and Paul Wheeler; and numerous other aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
