Kenneth Canaday

Mr. Kenneth Wesley Canaday, 82, passed away November 6, 2024 at his home in Mineola. He was born March 29, 1942, in Quitman, to Eldwith Wesley & Rosa Marie Love Canaday. Mr. Canaday spent most of his life in Wood County & Van Zandt County, with the last 25 years in Mineola. Kenneth retired as a police officer for Longview Police Department after 31 years of service and enjoyed most outdoor activities, especially hunting, fishing, and gardening. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his three sons, Alan Canaday of Mineola, Vince Canaday of Mineola, and Blake Canaday of Quitman; six grandchildren, Jacob, Caden, Easton, Emilee, Alex, and Daniel; and numerous other relatives and friends.
