Graveside services for Mary C. “Lou” Carpenter, 88, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2016 at Woodside Cemetery with Bro. Billy Cooper officiating.
Mrs. Carpenter passed away January 22, 2016. She was born April 8, 1927 to Robert Morrow and Cora A. Hall Maxwell in Grand Saline. Mary lived most of her life in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Bud Carpenter; and one stepson, Donald Carpenter.
Survivors include two stepsons, Ronnie Bud Carpenter and David Carpenter both of Myrtle Springs; one nephew, Cliff Malone of Wills Point; and one niece, Darlene Ellison of Mesquite.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., Monday at Bartley Funeral Home.
