Lowell Caves

Graveside services for Lowell D. Caves, 85, of Malakoff, formerly of Mesquite, are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Sand Flat Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Caves passed away December 12, 2017 in Malakoff. He was born February 2, 1932, in Quitman to William and Frances Walker Caves. Lowell was a Christian and lived most of his life in Dallas County. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Caves; son, Bubba Caves; and his brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Paula Wade of Malakoff; one son, Mickey Caves of New Mexico; eight grandchildren, Misty Madden, Stephen Thompson, Sasha Caves, Calvin Caves, Jeffrey Caves, Casey Hammonds, Tayla Standfield, and Fabian Nichols; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Thompson, Jimmy Madden, Tyler Madden, Cameron Hammonds, Craig Beavers, and Jim Adams.
The family will receive friends 12pm, Saturday at Bartley Funeral Home.
