Peggy Kerr Chandler
ALBA – Services for Peggy Jean Chandler, 80, of Alba and Farmers Branch, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. David Smith and Bro. Perry Crisp officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Chandler passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013, in a Plano hospital.
She was born January 29, 1933, in Greenville, to the late Raymond DeWitt and Luzelle Horton Kerr, and married Norman Chandler on February 11, 1951, in Denison. She had lived in Farmers Branch since 1957, and built a lake house on Lake Fork in 2000, where she also resided. She was a homemaker and a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Norman Chandler of Farmers Branch; son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Dwain and Karen Ann Chandler of Katy; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela D’Ann and Mark Kevin Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Robert Bartley of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Christy, Tami, Stephanie, Joseph, Amber, Heather, Chandler, Samuel, Analynn, and Chelsea; great grandchildren Ryan, Morgan, Billy, Jalynn, Carter, Ward, Eli, Selah, and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Norman Michael Chandler and Clifton Eugene Chandler; and infant brother, Thomas Roy Kerr; and infant great-grandchildren, Sophia Blake and Blake Chandler.
Pallbearers are Joseph Smith, Ryan Holland, Chandler Smith, Samuel Smith, Austin Piccolo, and Sam Piccolo.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, 6-8 p.m.
