Billy Cheek

Mr. Bill Cheek was born August 9, 1925, in Alba and passed away November 27, 2021, in Greenville. Bill was a retired store manager for Safeway Food Store, where he managed stores in Dallas and Greenville. He served in the Pacific Theater with the US Navy during WWII. Bill was a Mason and also a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church in Garland. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Cheek, Mother, Ora Cheek; sister, Murell Cheek; and two brothers, Dilliard Cheek and Brevard Cheek.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Johnson Cheek of Greenville; two sons, John Robert Cheek of Greenville, and Michael James Cheek (Debbie Counts) of Greenville; two grandchildren, Mandy Gale Kinsey of Wylie, and Misty Lynn Cheek of Rockwall; three great-grandchildren, Lola Kinsey, Miles Kinsey, and Jackson Cowell; and numerous other relatives and friends.
