Norma Cheek

Graveside services for Mrs. Norma Johnson Cheek, 96, of Greenville, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2023, at Lone Oak City Cemetery, under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.

Mrs. Cheek passed away March 1, 2023. She was born January 11, 1927, in Lone Oak, to Vernon & Johnnie Jones Johnson. She graduated from Lone Oak High School and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 75 years, Billy Bob Cheek; and two brothers, Leighton Johnson and Merlo Johnson.

Survivors include her two sons, John Robert Cheek of Greenville, and Michael James Cheek & Debbie Counts of Greenville; sister, Jean Leach of Greenville; two grandchildren, Mandy Gale Kinsley of Wylie, and Misty Lynn Cheek of Rockwall; three great-grandchildren, Lola Kinsley, Miles Kinsley, and Jackson Cowell.
