Nolan Colegrove

Services for Mr. Gene Colegrove, 79 of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. He was born February 2, 1932 in Kaufman to Hubert & Carrie Grimes Colegrove. He worked in construction as a tile setter and roofer and was Seventh-Day Adventist. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Jean Hicks Colegrove in 1999, sister, Billie Ruth Gault, brother, Royce Colegrove.
Survivors include his sons, Franklin Colegrove and wife DeAnn of Tyler and Eddie Colegrove of Grand Saline; daughter, Reba Kay Swindell and husband John of Grand Saline; brother, Allen Joe Colegrove and wife Joyce of Mineola; sister, Mary Ann Stuart and husband Ray; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
