Alfred Combs

ALBA – Family visitation for Alfred Webster Combs, 72, of Alba, is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the funeral home.
Mr. Combs passed away December 2, 2013, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was born September 15, 1941, in Terral, Oklahoma. He served his country in the Army in Korea during the Korean War. He married Betty Shuffield in Oklahoma on May 19, 1970. He was an over the road truck driver and a member of the Lake Fork Mavericks Motorcycle Club. He lived most of his life in Loop, Texas. He moved to Alba 22 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oakley and Edna Moffett Combs.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Combs of Alba; sons and spouses, Rickey Combs and Billie Hill of Alba, Tony and Ronda Martin of Andrews, and Dennis and Marti Martin of Abilene; daughter, Carolyn McCullough of Andrews; brother, Rayford Locke of Alba; sisters, Wanda Voss of McLoud, Oklahoma, and Joy Locke of Merced, California; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
