Services for Eric Lee “Cookie” Cook, 21 of Longview, formerly of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Curtis officiating.
Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Eric passed away October 17, 2012 in Daingerfield. He was born February 8, 1991 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He spent most of his life in Grand Saline and had recently lived in Longview. He worked in plumbing sales at Lowe’s and enjoyed it very much. He also enjoyed Peewee football and had been in the Grand Saline High School Band. Eric was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; grandmother, Ginger Studebaker; aunt Elaine and uncle Keith.
Survivors include mother, Betty Hillebrandt of Longview; father and step-mother, John & Stephanie Cook of Maypearl; brothers and sister-in-law, Joshua Cook of Longview, Chace & Caitlin Cook of Waxahachie and Dylan Cook of Maypearl; sister, Madilyn Cook of Maypearl; nephew, Caycen Cook of Waxahachie; his girlfriend, Amber Andrews of Daingerfield; grandparents, John & Joyce Cook of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Gayland & Larry Pate of Dallas, Daniel & Mary Svoboda of Dallas; special friends, Eric & Trish Carver and family; and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jake Hall, Delton Graves IV, Christopher Carver, Coby Carver, Terry Carver and Cory Ferguson Carver.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home
