Services for J V Copeland, 73, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating.
Mr. Copeland passed away February 17, 2016, at his home. He was born August 29, 1942 in Fruitvale to Julius Elijah Augman & Ona Elizabeth Hair Copeland. J V was loved by everyone and enjoyed restoring and driving old classic cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard Copeland, JR Copeland, RV Copeland, Jewel Copeland, Jack Copeland and Virgil Nelson; and sisters, Ruby Copeland, Ruby Nelson and Francis Lisa Waymire.
Survivors include son, Gary Copeland of Fillmore, CA; brothers, Earl Ray Copeland, OD Copeland and Sammy Copeland; sisters, Merle Fay Schnadenberg and Charlene Sides; two grandchildren, Blake Copeland and Jade Copeland; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
