Graveside Services for Genevieve Steel Costello, 88, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Birdston Cemetery, Streetman, TX.
Mrs. Costello passed away February 8, 2016, in Grand Saline. She was born May 18, 1927, in Streetman to White Gregg & Jewel Erline Kelley Steele. She grew up in Grand Saline and graduated from GSHS in 1944. Genevieve moved to Dallas where she worked at Allied Artists Film Company for about 30 years. She and her husband, Mike, retired to Grand Saline 20 years ago. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Costello; brothers, Roger Steele, Richard Steele and Kenneth Steele.
Survivors include nine nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Anita Stribling of Dallas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m., Wednesday at Bartley Funeral Home.
