Memorial services for Mrs. Sandra Lee Ewen Courtney Moreland, 80, of Alba, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie with Bro. Tom Weir officiating.
Mrs. Moreland passed away October 20, 2020, in Tyler. She was born July 31, 1940, in Millville, New Jersey, to Leslie Paul and Hattie Constance Quinn Ewen. Sandra lived her life as a resident of Grand Prairie, but her last two years in Alba. She worked with the Deaf Ministry for over 40 years at Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Lynn Courtney and Edward “Gene” Moreland; daughter, Leslie Sinclair; sister, Patricia Duffey; and nephew, Mikel Duffey.
Survivors include her son, Larry Jones and wife Deborah Jones of Alba; daughter, Connie DeLay of Grand Prairie; seven grandchildren, Mark, Angelia, Stephanie, Christopher, Courtney, Chad, and Corey; eleven great-grandchildren; niece, Jody Johns of Dallas, and numerous other relatives and friends.
